I would point out an event that surely at least as presented, be very interesting: it is Switched on London, a festival of light held in London 7 to 14 February 2008.
Theme of the event in 2008 will be to emphasize the importance of sustainable lighting porgettazione, that has an eye for saving energy or rather of how to illuminate the night landscape of the city also sources using energy-saving and low impact environment (eg LEDs).
16 will be the main sites where this event will take place, or rather in which is staging the light:

3. London Bridge Post Office, 19a Borough High Street
4. London Bridge
5. Hay's Wharf
6. Hay's Galleria
7. HMS Belfast
8. Hilton Tower Bridge

11. Tower Of London
12. Tower Bridge
13. City Hall
14. Words In London, Potters Fields Park
15. Breathing Trees, Potters Fields Park
16. Design Museum

Will be represented, presented different lighting scenarios, carried out by different groups of lighting designers, who have not only aim to present themselves, but to illustrate the benefits obtained by illumination (echo) in terms of sustainable consumption and impact to 'inside of the urban scene at night.
Certainly interesting to make a quick trip to London at this time
