I must say the good news given by reports last night were really interesting. Certainly helped to give further confirmation that the lighting in the near future will be full of LEDs and thus saving energy.
Initiatives similar to those of Torraca Scandiano and can also be found at European level additura London aims as the first European city to have street-lighting entirely by LEDs.
As it says on the site of The Independent (9 March 2008) that Nicky Gavron, deputy mayor of London, long environmental campaign spokesman, has launched a new challenge: "all residential lighting in London will be LED by 2012."
Course for now been achieved in just a few pilot projects: Potters Field Park, City Hall in Southwark and sidewalks in Greenwich and Barnet. By the year will be implemented 10 other projects.
Certain initiatives such as those proposed by Gavron appear grandiose than small initiatives and Scandiano Torraca, but there is one thing to say: At least for a time, Italy is not to look, indeed it is proposed in Europe with leading-edge solutions that from here a few years could become standards on cross for public enlightenment.
Still good news
What do you say?
