As you know are always looking for new subjects, interesting and most useful to be presented, I must say that the web is increasingly a source of inspiration and unfailing resource. The other day browsing here and there I found a really useful site, for all lovers of lighting, both professionals, amateurs that, but also students looking for information about the world and history of the sources of illumination.
I'm talking about http://www.lamptech.co.uk, site-museum for the whole English lamp technology. You'll find dozens of examples illustrated by the old incandescent lamp with carbon filament, the most modern discharge lamps.
A really well done site where every article describes this very clear and explicit images, details and graphics.
A place to collect invaluable information and I must say absolutely not easy to find, which was founded in 2003 and since then constantly updated.
Of particular interest is the video section, where you can find interesting film explaining the operation of the various sources presented, among others, the halogen cycle, which occurs precisely during the operation of a halogen source.
Inescapable section link where you will find among others in the section Historic Collections, which will remain trapped in a succession of outstanding information contained in as many sites that deal with lighting and where you'll find photos, documents and anything else you can come to mind on 'lighting.
Resource inevitable that you must save as a favorite.
Congratulations to the authors of the site, good job!
Good reading and the next.
