Who are

Giacomo Rossi, an architect specializing in lighting design.
I graduated in architecture in the company of two other girls, Erica and Sonia, in July 1999 with a thesis on "Light in the city. Methodological proposal for the lighting design with particular attention to areas with predominantly pedestrian use, from reading the history of the luminaire. Whose title is a whole program, especially when referring to the size of the tome.

That same year I joined the then study LED (now Ferrara Palladino ) 's Eng. P. Palladino (which is also the rapporteur of my thesis), and his partner of adventure, arch. C. Ferrara. Thanks to their support and thanks to the university experience as an assistant for the course of lighting at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the Politecnico di Milano, I built my light culture, since 2007 I'm spilling Luxemozione.

In ten years I have been fortunate enough to personally important projects, including:

  • lighting of the narthex of the Cathedral of Sant'Evasio Casale Monferrato (1999)
  • lighting of the Cathedral of Milan (2000),
  • lighting Piazza della Scala Milan (2000),
  • Artistic lighting of the exterior architecture and interiors of the Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso (2004), illumination of the Garibaldi railway Station of Milan (2005),
  • lighting of the Cathedral of Fidenza (2007),
  • lighting of the track area of Milan Central Railway Station (2008),
  • artistic lighting Sassi di Matera (2009)
  • lighting and daylight analysis for the New Church and Multipurpose Center of Cesano Boscone (2009) in collaboration with Studio Four Members of Annoni, Parodi, Reginald, Saviola.

Well no shortage of editorial experience, apart Luxemozione, can be summarized in a few collaborations in the drafting of textbooks, articles in magazines and dissertations.

I will not dwell further to avoid boring, but mainly because I do not think this is the place for self-referenced. However, if you need more information, please contact me by leaving a comment at bottom of post or by sending an email to giacomo@luxemozione.com . Then if you can not resist here's my portfolio with major works

Hello and see you soon!
